Endau Rompin, Selai

Friends and I visited Endau Rompin over the Christmas weekend, I must say Endau Rompin Selai could use some major facelift if the Govt wishes to attract  bigger dollar from our friendly neighbor  because the facilities were rather crude.

Selai should be a boon for birders/nature lovers because of  its remoteness and being under developed; no birding activity this time around but  managed to do some trail walking where  these photos were taken.

A colorful Spotted Stream  Frog, there were more than a pair of them near the stream but only spotted one (1).

Not sure what species of spiders are these though.

This House Gecko was hiding behind my wall mirror, his was calling loudly and endlessly from the moment I step into my chalet until he was  found/caught/released for a restful sleep.

Here is a fresh water garfish (needle-fish).

Found this Land Snail devouring fungi.

A Red hairy caterpillar?

The face of a spider in second picture look so familiar to me after I started to zoom into this critter recently.
