Luwak

I did not venture  too far out during the nite because the locals had already informed me on what to expect during the nite which save me the energy of walking about too much after a day long affairs. Dutifully so, I waited at the spot where those nite creatures will come out to forage/hunt and here are the results.

A thirsty Masked Palm Civet Cat  with a mouthful of "Jambu Air" literally translated as "water apple"  after waited for less than 15 minutes shortly after  9 pm.

This "not so" shy Brown Fish Owl was seen foraging on the ground as I was approching the camping ground.
Not a bad nite huh.

Hi Yen, i have just been catching up with your great posts, your photos are really beautiful and all the birds you see are so exotic looking in comparison to ours.

Lovely capture of the Civet Cat, what a mouthful it had! The Owl is stunning, those eyes!!!
