Red Bearded

It was a "Red" day for me at Fraser's Hill, first I spotted this Red Bearded Bee Eater and later the Red Headed Trogon. Beautiful "pink" on the forecrown and "red' beard huh?

This Bee Eater is a relatively common species and the call is unmistakable ..." Kar Ka Ka Ka".

Yen,

Thanks for faithfuly visiting my site. So glad that you enjoyed the Hybiscus. I love them too, obviously :) I love these beeeaters. Tony at Birds of Egypt photographs the green ones. I haven't seen the read headed/breasted ones. You caught a great shot here with his mouth wide open. :) Loved them both. Thanks for sharing your gift with me.
