Soon after we departed Kinanbangan River, we headed off  to the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary. They were no free roaming Orang Utans within the park and the best  and only time to spot them is during their feeding time in the morning and afternoon.

There were 4 or 5 Orangutans and some Pig Tailed Macaques  near/at the feeding /viewing platform. I liked to think that 4 -5 Orangutans is a good number because it is a sign that less wild orangutans were seized or rescued form poachers or timber loggers.

On the other hands, we congrats WWF for doing their level best to preserve our  precious wildlife habitat.

This younger Orang Utan was very inquisitive and came down to the viewing platform to greet us.

The highlight of the visit has got to be this very muscular alpha male that was taking a peep at the crowd.

This one stole the "purple yam" from the feeding platform and is ever watchful  in case the Orangutan decided to reclaim their food.
