Purple Swamphen with Chick 2

This chick has grown up quite a bit and had started to develop his own blue purplish feather. Take a look here when he was first spotted with his "all black" coat. Still not "mature" enough to go foraging on his own though.

Cute baby!
The colour turns from all back to blue in three weeks. That beak is still back.

The Swamphens have really long fingers which they spread on the water hyacinth.
I saw the Common Moorhen both times I was there ,they come out around 3.00-6.00pm
