Green Broadbill

The evening at Bumbun Tahan@ Taman Negara (hide) that looks out over a clear patch of land is not a bad place for birding. Spotted a pair of Green Broadbill hunting down insects in mid air; but it was quite dark at 7 pm to make any other shot.

This Green Broadbill has a very small beak if you care to compare him with his other cousins.

If you are lucky, you may get to see Sambar Deer and/or wild pigs at the clearing.

Looks like you had a wonderful trip to Taman Negara. Beautiful shots of green broadbill and blue naped monarch. These are my target also. Must go there one day.
