Orange-Headed Thrush

I had photographed this beautiful Orange-headed Thrush awhile ago and I was told this is a Female Orange Headed Thrush because the Male Thrush wears a dark bluish grey plumage as per photograph 2 below.

Both photographs taken from Bukit Tinggi.

Female

Male (this photograph was taken back in early Jan 09).

These are really great photos, especially the one of the female. So close and clear!

I arrived here from the SkyWatch Friday link. When you link from that site, we ask that you take a few moments to check the guidelines. Unfortunately I must delete your link because there is no sky in your photos. Also, when you link, we ask that you please identify your post for SkyWatch so visitors can easily find it, and also link back to the site so your visitors can see other skies or join the community themselves.

I thank you for these lovely photos. It was a pleasure to see them. And you are more than welcome to share any of your bird photos that include the sky as a SkyWatch contribution.

Hello yen, these are fantastic images. As I scrolled down, I saw even more beautiful photographs. I am looking forward to seeing more of your photographs about Malaysia and everything Malaysian.

Interesting and beautiful photos. I was wondering where these were taken? Because I will be visiting KL this year and would be interested in visiting nature reserves, etc.
