Blue Nuthatch

I spotted this Blue Nuthatch jumping along a tree trunk and I had almost mistaken it for a Woodpecker.

The 1st photograph is not very clear, my apology. But, what is interesting about this bird is it can run down a tree trunk head first (photograph 2 below).

Very restless and jumping without stopping and ...jumps away from my gaze too.

Hi Yen,
These photos are much better than the ones I took in Gohtong Jaya. I know how difficult it is to get quality pictures of this bird. Well done.

Marvelous graphical markings on that bird, indeed. Love it. We have two kinds of Nuthatches here in the eastern United States, White breasted and Rose breasted. They both go down trees head first, very comical.
