Flock of Common Greenshank, a Grey Heron and a Egret lifting off the ground ...
They are called Waders and I refer them as shorebirds. Commonly found along the mangrove Forests like Kuala Gula, Parit Jawa, Muar, and others.
What is interesting (so I read) that many of these waders have sensitive nerve endings at the end of their bills which enable them to detect prey items hidden in mud or soft soil.
Pretty neat huh.
