There are a total of 181 species from 45 families of bird fauna has been recorded at FRIM. In addition to that, FRIM also host to about 26 species of migrant birds, most of which are visitors from the North.

What you have read so far are mostly common species inhabiting FRIM.

What a tall order for an amateur birder!

This Stripe-Throated Bulbul is pretty shy one and not as noisy as her cousin the Yellow-Vented Bulbul

A handsome Chestnut-breasted Malkoha.

I am not sure what to call this chick, can you help? Anyone?

A Greater Racket-tailed Drongo

A beautiful Emerald Dove.
