Kuala Sepetang

Kuala Sepetang

Once the busiest port in the region, the facilities provided were mainly for exporting of processed tin ores. Opened in 1877 as the gateway for cargo ships, Port Weld is now called Kuala Sepetang. No longer a main port, it is now mainly for fishing boats.

BEAUTIFUL photos! I must say I haven't been far from home myself--Arkansas and Louisiana USA, respectfully. My pics are lame by comparison! My father is the only one having any photos taken further than the front lawn--he was in the Navy and traveled the world eating Ramen noodles with cheddar for a change from MREs
